The Cinevator®hd represents the entry-level model of the renowned Cinevator® range of real time film recorders/printers. The Cinevator®hd targets the rapidly growing HD video and independent film market, meeting the demand for low-cost film transfers. It outperforms any available CRT- or laser-based film recorder in terms of speed, image quality and reliability. The Cinevator®hd is the perfect choice for small and medium sized HD/film post houses.

Real Time Film Recording
The Cinevator®hd is Cinevation’s latest product based on its modular, state-of-the-art Cinevator® platform. It represents the entry-level model and is available as a film recorder only or as a combined film recorder/film printer with sound and subtitles. The Cinevator®hd records 24/25 frames per second in native HD resolution on all supported film stocks. Its imaging engine is based on DLP® technology from Texas Instruments and a patented LED light source. The Cinevator®hd is excellent value for money yet not compromising on image quality and reliability. It has been designed for 24/7 operation and low-maintenance cost. The system is controlled through a touch screen panel with an ergonomic and very intuitive graphical user interface. The Cinevator®hd integrates easily into existing post production workflows.
Direct-to-Print (optional)
The Cinevator®hd can also be upgraded to a digital film printer. This upgrade allows direct to print with sounds and subtitles, cutting out the intermediate negative, interpositive, internegative and even the sound negative. It’s just perfect for all those limited releases, premium prints and festival screenings that require small amounts of prints yet demand best image quality at lower cost. Eventually the Cinevator®hd can replace your old film recorder, your film printer, your sound camera and your subtitling machine. At last there is one machine that will do it all!
